Halle Berry in Court Over Move to France

Halle Berry is trying to move overseas with her daughter and she’s enlisting the help of a famous friend.

Halle and her ex, Gabriel Aubry, were in an L.A. court today (Thursday), battling over her request to take their daughter, Nahla, to France. The actress is expected to use her recent run-ins with paparazzi and a stalker as evidence for why she should be allowed to leave the U.S. And she’s gotten her pal Salma Hayek to argue that France is safer for celebs and their children because of the country’s tougher paparazzi laws. Salma is married to French billionaire François-Henri Pinault and has a four-year-old daughter.

Nothing was settled today. The trial is expected to last nearly three weeks.
