Sons of Anarchy Actor Johnny Lewis Kills Woman, Dies in a Fall

More grueling details have emerged in the apparent murder-suicide involving Sons of Anarchy actor Johnny Lewis.

The actor allegedly murdered his 81-year-old landlady and then climbed onto the roof and fell to his death Wednesday in L.A. But before that, he allegedly beat the woman’s cat to death and dismembered it. It’s believed Johnny was on PCP or meth.

According to TMZ, he was arrested for several violent crimes earlier this year — felony assault with a deadly weapon, battery, assault and burglary. He was sentenced to 303 days in jail for two of those crimes.

Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter says he isn’t surprised by Johnny’s death. Kurt says, “I wish I could say that I was shocked by the events of last night, but I was not. I am deeply sorry that an innocent life had to be thrown into his destructive path. Yes, it’s day of mourning, but it’s also a day of awareness and gratitude. Sadly, some of us carry the message by dying.”
