Tom Hanks Drops F-Bomb on ‘Good Morning America’

Tom Hanks got a little too into character Friday when he dropped the f-bomb during a live broadcast of “Good Morning America.”

The Oscar-winning actor was imitating the English accent of a character from his new movie “Cloud Atlas,” when he made a remark about his “f—ing boots.”

With gasps and laughs echoing from off set, Hanks flinched as “GMA” host Elizabeth Vargas made a mortified plea for forgiveness.

“We are SO sorry, ‘Good Morning America,’” Vargas said nervously.

Hanks, too, appeared embarrassed.

“I have never done that before,” he said.

Growing more animated, he continues that he “slipped into a brand of acting there … I would apologize to the kids of America.”
