Kathy Wagler, owner of Cravelli Ford in Hopewell Twp. and a nine-year breast cancer survivor, represented the Neighborhood Ford Store on field at Sunday’s Steelers game.

Wagler, along with Liz Dwyer, 12-year breast cancer survivor and regional sales manager for Ford in Pittsburgh, presented a check along with UPMC Cancer Centers to the Pittsburgh affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure during pre-game ceremonies at the Steelers’ Breast Cancer Awareness Game.

The pair also showcased a 2012 Ford Warriors in Pink quilt, made up of squares decorated with messages of hope and inspriation by participants of the Pittsburgh Race for the Cure. The quilt was stitched by a local volunteer quilter and will be donated to hang on permanent display at a local breast cancer treatment center.

Ford was game day sponsor of the Steelers’ Breast Cancer Awareness Game and many of the group’s volunteers handed out nearly 70,000 pink Terrible Towels to game day attendees.
