FDA Approves Edible Digital Pills That Keep Track of Your Health

The FDA has approved edible digital pills that will keep track of your health. The pill contains a tiny microchip that keeps tabs on the insides of your body and sends the info to your healthcare provider’s cell phone.
The microchip is a silicon wafer that is no bigger than a grain of sand. After it’s been swallowed, the chip is able to generate electricity from the stomach’s digestive fluids. (Eeew!) Once the chip is activated, it sends a signal to a patch on the patient’s skin, which in turn relays the medical info.
