According to a new study, diet is way more important than exercise in your attempts to lose weight.

 

Researchers were surprised to learn that office workers burn just as many calories as a tribe of actual hunter-gatherers in Tanzania. But, of course, the tribe is filled with skinny, fit people – while most office workers are overweight.

 

So, your metabolic rate is just fine. The problem is that you eat too much processed garbage food, while hunter-gatherers eat whole, unprocessed wild foods.
