Cubs Fan’s Scoreboard Marriage Proposal Runs While His Girlfriend’s In The Bathroom

On Monday, a guy named Greg wanted to propose to his girlfriend Erica at a Chicago Cubs game. He paid the Cubs to flash the message on the scoreboard in the middle of the game.

BUT . . . when they finally put up his message after the fifth inning, Erica had just gone to the bathroom.

To her credit, she came back with some beers. And she said yes when Greg dropped down and proposed to her right there, WITHOUT the aid of the scoreboard.

One final note: The website Deadspin.com wrote about this and speculated that Erica could’ve been in the bathroom missing her proposal because she was POOPING . . . her mother wrote the website to say she was not. Good to know.
