RELATIONSHIPS: The Divorce Generation

Young adults today, often called Generation Y, have more negative feelings about marriage and long-term relationships than any generation that came before it.

They seem to have a hard time believing in the idea of two people being happy together for a long time because they’ve seen lots of relationships fall apart before their eyes.

Because of this, the “divorce generation” loves the idea of being single and trying to make this carefree stage of their lives last a long as they possibly can.
