In Arizona, a woman got stung by a scorpion – and got stuck with over $80,000 in hospital bills.
After getting stung, Marcie Edmonds had to get two doses of anti-venom – at nearly $40,000 per dose.
Insurance paid about $57,000 – and now the hospital wants Edmonds to pay the balance of about $25,000.
Talk about adding insult to injury.
