End of the line for returnable Coca-Cola bottle

After 80 years of production, the Coca-Cola Bottling Company is discontinuing their line of returnable bottles.

Things have changed so much in the soda industry over the decades that it just doesn’t make sense to manufacture these bottles anymore.

It doesn’t matter how much nostalgia that’s involved here, it’s just impossible to stop the wheels of progress.
