Marissa Mayer just promised every Yahoo employee any smartphone but BlackBerry

Every employee of Yahoo is getting a brand new Apple iPhone-5.

The CEO of Yahoo, Marissa Mayer, delivered a memo to her staff late last week. She announced that the company will pay for everyone’s smartphone, including the data plan and monthly phone charges.

It’s seen as a smart move by the new CEO. Not only should productivity increase within the company, but the place needs a major morale boost. The stock price has been lagging for the once-powerful Yahoo.
