June 15, 2012 - 4:33 pm | Category: Money
A survey by CareerBuilder found that you don’t need to make a LOT of money to be a success.
More than half of Americans said that the level of salary they considered a career success was LESS than $70,000.
28% of people said that a success was making between $50,000 and $70,000 . . . and 23% said that you could be a success at less than $50,000.
Only one in 10 people said that you needed to make $150,000 to be a success. Men were twice as likely as women to say that you needed to make at least six figures. One in three men said you needed to make $100,000.
Most people think that they’re a success . . . or at least close to it. 23% of people are already at the salary level they thought defined success, and 45% are close to it.
