Holmes’ psychiatrist reported behavior to colleagues

James Holmes’s psychiatrist at the University of Colorado — where he was a graduate student — reported her concerns to the school’s “behavioral evaluation and threat assessment” team.
Lynne Fenton began the process of assembling a “beta” team to intervene about six weeks before the July 20th shooting, but Holmes soon dropped out of school. The University never reported Fenton’s concerns to authorities.
Sources say they don’t know what Holmes told Fenton, but that it would have had to have been something specific and serious — such as details about the steps he was taking in planning his attack.
