Space legend Neil Armstrong dies

Neil Armstrong, the U.S. astronaut who made history as the first human being to set foot on the moon, has died. The 82-year-old had undergone coronary bypass surgery several weeks ago. Broadcast live from 182,000 miles away, Armstrong’s 1969 words — “That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind” — have become part of America’s legacy to the world.
