The space shuttle Endeavour finally made it to its final resting place, after traveling in slow-motion through the streets of Los Angeles all weekend.

The retired shuttle made it to Exposition Park, where it will be displayed at the California Science Center beginning on October 30th, at 10:45 a.m. Sunday.

It left Los Angeles International Airport before daybreak on Friday to begin the 12-mile trip and it took even longer than expected. On Saturday, it was five hours late for one stop, where an estimated crowd of 165,000 waited to get a glance of the spaceship.
