Government promises world won’t end on Dec. 21

In reaction to thousands of letters written to NASA scientists from people scared about the doomsday prediction of the Mayan calendar, the government has publicly promised that the world will not end on December 21st.

Well, that’s one less thing to worry about.

The U.S. government wrote a blog post titled: “Scary Rumors About the World Ending in 2012 Are Just Rumors.”

The note may or may not calm down the people who believe a giant comet will strike Earth that day or that we’re destined to collide with another planet.
