Meat Loaf Went Nuts While Performing “America the Beautiful” at a Mitt Romney Rally

MEAT LOAF appeared with MITT ROMNEY at a campaign event in Ohio a few days ago . . . and in retrospect, Romney may be wishing that he HADN’T.

The BEST part came at the end, when Meat Loaf turned a traditional rendition of “America the Beautiful” into a TRAIN WRECK OF AWESOME.

He was onstage with Romney . . . singing with country singers BIG & RICH and RANDY OWEN from ALABAMA. Everything was normal at first, and then Meat Loaf suddenly decided to TAKE OVER.

He shouted the lyrics, and added some ridiculous runs that drowned out everyone else. Basically, he just went NUTS. (TMZ has video. Romney’s reaction is pretty amusing, too.)
