OBAMA: Sheriff Joe Arpaio Says Birth Certificate is Definitely Fraudulent

If you thought the debate over the authenticity of President Obama’s birth certificate was over, you are mistaken. Controversial Maricopa, Arizona County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and his posse of volunteers said Tuesday they are positive the president’s long-form birth certificate, released by the White House in April 2011, is a computer-generated forgery.

They’re pointing to numeric codes on the birth certificate they say indicate those sections weren’t originally filled out. They learned about the codes from a 95-year-old former state worker who signed the birth certificate.

Officials in Hawaii once again confirmed that the birth certificate it legit, while the Arizona Democratic Party said in a statement that the sheriff’s investigation is designed to distract people away from his department’s problems, which reportedly include hundreds of inadequately investigated sex-crime cases over a three-year period.
