Romney vows to be a ‘pro-life president’

A day after he said he doesn’t plan to pursue any anti-abortion legislation if elected, Mitt Romney said Wednesday that he’ll be “a pro-life president” if he wins in November.

Romney, speaking at a restaurant in Delaware, Ohio, said, “I’ve said time and again, I’m a pro-life candidate, I’ll be a pro-life president.” He added that he’ll eliminate finding for Planned Parenthood and reinstate a ban on using federal funding for abortions abroad.
