Ozzie Guillen Returns After Suspension, Visits Cuban Exiles

Ozzie Guillén is ready to move on, and it appears Miami is too.

No demonstrations were evident Tuesday night when the Miami Marlins took on the Chicago Cubs in Guillén’s first game back after a five game suspension.

There were minor random occurrences, however, like for instance in the fourth inning when a fan in the second deck stood, waved his arms and screamed several times, “Ozzie, you’re an …” while finishing the line each time with an R-rated synonym for “jerk.”

Needless to say, on the 51st anniversary of the Bay of Pigs, all eyes were on the manager suspended for praising Fidel Castro.
