The Penn State football team has made some changes to its iconic uniforms in an effort to move on from the Jerry Sandusky child molestation scandal.
For the first time, players’ names will appear on the backs of the jerseys, and blue ribbons will also adorn the jerseys in support of abuse victims.
Head coach Bill O’Brien says, “We want our fans to know and recognize these young men. They have stuck together during tough times, and I commend them for the leadership they have shown.”
