Millions of People Cutting the Cable Cord

According to a new survey, the number of U.S. homes that don’t get cable, antenna or satellite service is on the rise – but that doesn’t mean they don’t have TV.
Three-quarters of the estimated five million homes that don’t get TV signals over the airways or through cable or satellite have televisions anyway – and use their TVs for games, playing DVDs or subscribing to services like Netflix.
