Previous studies have shown that video games can mess up your sleep – but they don’t have to.
A new study has shown that video game-playing teenagers were able to get a good night’s rest as long as they played no more than 60 minutes immediately before bedtime.
Unfortunately, playing more than an hour is a problem.
The researchers found that marathon gaming sessions of 150 minutes right before bedtime causes big time sleep disruption, making it harder to get to sleep and reducing the quality of sleep once you drop off.
