Cops called over swearing parrot

Cops were called to a house in Glasgow, Scotland to settle a complaint between a man and his noisy neighbor — a foul-mouthed parrot.

Pepe, a yellow-headed Amazon parrot, has been annoying residents of surrounding homes with expletive-laden rants left over from his days in a taxi dispatcher’s office. His owner, John McAlinden, insists he’s been trying to temper Pepe’s temper. He says the bird “uses a fair amount of industrial language and he’s a bit of a handful. I’m sorry if he’s caused any upset to my neighbors. Hopefully he’s learned his lesson and will settle down a bit.”

As of now, police say they will keep the complaint on record, but don’t intend to cage the bird just yet.
