Man finds mummified bat in his morning bowl of cereal

A German man nearly went batty when he sat down for breakfast and found that his morning corn flakes came with a special surprise inside – a mummified bat!

The unidentified man said that he initially thought he’d poured out a Halloween-themed toy, but when he picked it up from his bowl, he found it was an actual dead critter – one that stayed crunchy, even in milk. Health department officials believe the bat may have flown into the cereal’s plastic packaging by mistake and suffocated to death.

It makes us wonder … has anyone seen Count Chocula lately?
