Man threatened to bomb neighborhood over lost dog

A Florida man is in police custody for offering a rather unique reward for the return of his missing dog – a promise not to set off a massive bomb in the middle of the neighborhood where the pooch was lost.

Benjamin Parrine posted a note on Facebook saying that he planned to build a device out of C4 explosives and set it off inside a local school because he thought one of his neighbors had kidnapped and killed his dog. When cops came to his home to question him, he remained on his couch, pretending to be asleep.

He allegedly told deputies he didn’t care about any of his neighbors and was tired of having law enforcement called to his place for noise complaints.
