Woman climbing fence to get into jail: ‘I want to be arrested’

An Ohio woman had a very short trip to her jail cell after being arrested on charges of breaking and entering – for trying to bust into the county jail.

Tiffany Hurd was locked up on Sunday after corrections officers observed her trying to scale a barbed wire fence normally used to keep people from breaking out of the joint. Hurd, who was reportedly quite intoxicated, was shouting, “I want to be arrested,” and despite jailers’ best efforts, she stuck to her guns and demanded to be escorted inside.

Her attempt to resist non-arrest was successful, and she was booked on charges of criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct.
