Women Banned From Waterslide Due to “Intimate” Injuries

A water park in Germany has banned women from its new, ultra-fast waterslide because, it says, the water has caused a number of “intimate injuries.” Six women have been taken the hospital for genital injuries in the past year, but no men have reported such injuries.

The park’s manager says, “These injuries are caused by the nature of the female anatomy.” But a spokesperson for Germany’s Professional Association of Gynecologists doubts this explanation, saying there’s no medical explanation for why women would be hurt by whooshing water.
