Kate Vows to Sleep on the Streets to Aid the Homeless

Princess Kate may soon be sleeping on the streets of London — for charity. The Duchess of Cambridge is reportedly interested in participating in a Sleep Out campaign run by the Centrepoint charity in hopes of raising awareness for the growing homeless problem in the U.K. Her husband, Prince William, spent a night on the streets in 2009 and was almost run over by a street sweeper.

However, a spokesperson for the Duchess says there are no plans in the works for a Sleep Out but that Kate “will continue to support the Duke in his patronage of the charity.”
