Magnitude 7.4 earthquake hits El Salvador; tsunami warning issued

An earthquake measuring 7.4 on the Richter scale struck late last night off the El Salvador coast. Although there was some minor shaking, there are no reports of significant damage.

A tsunami warning was issued, but the largest wave that hit as a result of the temblor was just 10 centimeters high.
